Origin of the center |
| Yilan Sweethome Welfare Service Center is named in the homophonic of “bamboo dragonfly”. With reassurring love, patience, care and enthusiasm, the Center installs a bamboo dragonfly in each disadvantaged family to guide them to fly high and to advance toward their dreams. |
| Planning of the Center |
| Providing the disadvantaged families with phone greetings and caring visits, designing the schemes of each activity, integrating existing welfare resources of civil units and communities of Yilan county, providing the resources and referrals, arranging discussions over related topics and training of professionals to build a welfare service policy and social support network that can meet the needs of the disadvantaged families to enhance their abilities to solve the problems and adapt to the life. |
| Future outlook |
| To make the services of the Center more accessible, the establishment of Yilan station is planned first and Luodong Station and Jiaoxi Station will be established successively to provide comprehensive quality services. |

| Disadvantaged families registered or residing in Yilan county (including foreign spouse and single-parent family, etc.). |
| Content of service |
1.Case management:
Constructively restore the ability of the single parent family to cope with the crisis and increase the ability of the foreign spouse to adapt to Taiwan through intervention or referral of related resources.
2.Phone consultancy:
Provide the disadvantaged families with phone consultancy services relating to psychological status, marriage, parental education and law, etc.
3.Psychological consultancy:
The social workers shall perform the evaluations and invite professional consultants or social workers for psychological interview.
4.Group sessions:
Develop different types of group courses depending on the needs of different service objects, for instance, growth support groups or parent-child groups.
5.Welfare service scheme
Have nonscheduled classes of foreign spouses adapting to life, life care courses of single parent family, various seminars, parent-child summer camps and other social activities from time to time.
6.Legal consultancy:
Provide free legal consultancy services through appointment.
7.Phone greetings and caring visits:
Provide the foreign spouses and single parent families with phone greetings and caring visits services. |

Foreign Spouses Consultation Hotline
