Re-entry permit
|
1. Foreigners holding resident visa or changing to resident visa should go to local immigration service center to apply for alien resident certificates within 15 days counted from the next day of arrival or the next day of receiving resident visa in Taiwan.
（1）Visiting relatives：A certificate of relationship.
（2）Chinese language training： An enrollment certificate or class schedule from an approved public or private language center or university.Attendance record (except the first extension).
2. Religious obligations or activities The original and one photocopy of the letter of invitation or related certificates from the religious institution in Taiwan.One photocopy of legal registration certificate of religious institution. |

Residence certificate

3. .Statement of Eligibility for the Required Residence and Physical Presence in Taiwan Areas.
4. The Certificate of Entry and Exit ( issued by the Immigration Bureau) verifying dates of continuous legal residence.
5. The calculation of the applicant’s physical presence in the Taiwan Areas each year .
6. The passport, original and one photocopy. The original will be returned after verification.
7. The ARC, original and one photocopy. The original will be returned after verification.
8. The satisfactory health examination report.
9. The Income Tax (or Tax-exempt) Certificates for the most recent three years.
10. The Certificates verifying skill, talent, or financial assets.
11. The Police Record Certificates for the recent five years issued by (a) the applicant’s country of origin and (b) the local police bureau in Taiwan, respectively.
12. Other relevant certificates.
13. Fee：NT $10,000. |

Application for police criminal record certificate
|
Failure to extend the ARC before the expiry date will result in automatic cancellation of the ARC and mandatory deportation.
Any resident alien (except an Overseas Chinese student) who applies for an Alien Resident Certificate may complete an application for a reentry permit at the same time.
